A tick whose bite makes people allergic to red meat is apparently the same culprit in the spread of the vicious, potentially fatal Bourbon virus.

Symptoms include fever, tiredness, rash, headache, body aches, nausea, and vomiting, according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention
