During this 2022 routes were added that connect Costa Rica with different destinations directly.
In the case of the Juan Santamaría International Airport, 24 airlines currently fly to 35 destinations around the world. So far this year, the air terminal has incorporated the following connections:

At the destination level, 35 are counted. The direct routes to Cartagena, Medellín and Quito, all offered by Avianca as of March 2022, as well as the route to Denver, Colorado that began operations in December 2020 with United Airlines, and the most recent arrival of Arajet that offers direct flights to Santo Domingo, are part of the list of flights that were not counted before the pandemic.
