Initial reactions and Observations
- Bayern had 23 shots (10 on target) and only one goal from a penalty. This nearly ended in disaster for Bayern; they need to finish off those chances.
- What started as a dominant display from Bayern became a two-sided affair as Gladbach reserved their energy for the second half, almost catching Bayern out multiple times.
- Again, not a word about Leroy Sane. Ditto Serge Gnabry.
- This was not Bayern’s best game, but man were they all over the place.
- Felix Zwayer was incredibly inconsistent with his calls. Why is this guy still officiating matches?
