Gardaí said the results of a post-mortem examination would determine the course of the investigation
Gardaí say they are preparing a file for the coroner after the death of a newborn baby girl who was found unresponsive at home in Co Longford yesterday morning.
In an update on Monday afternoon, the force said that following the results of a postmortem examination they would now be preparing a file for the coroner only.
“Gardaí attended a house in Abbeylara, Co. Longford, on Sunday, 26th January, 2025,” they said in a statement.
