There were major delays on the M50 southbound this afternoon after all lanes between Junction 12 and Junction 13 were closed due to an incident on the motorway.
All diversions have since been removed and the road has fully reopened, but some delays may still occur due to congestion.
It is understood the incident happened on the M50 southbound between Junction 12 Firhouse and Junction 13 Dundrum.
Gardaí were directing southbound traffic of the motorway M50 at J12, and stopping traffic going onto M50 southbound at J11 Tallaght.
All diversions have now been removed.
