Captain America: Brave New World is the big new movie of the weekend, and it’s already off to a solid start for Marvel’s 2025 movies.
Per the Hollywood Reporter, Sam Wilson’s solo outing has opened to $192.4 million worldwide, at time of writing. Of that, $92.4 million is from international audiences, stateside take is currently $88.4 million. With the four-day weekend, Brave New World seems poised to make $100 million domestic, ahead of the initial target projections of $90 million-$96 million. To date, it’s one of the best domestic openings for the President’s Day holiday and the biggest opening of any 2025 movie yet….
