A 1-0 defeat for a side bottom of their league and facing relegation can hardly be claimed as a success.

And while Mark Hughes’ Carlisle United were beaten by Harrogate Town by that score in League Two on Saturday, it was a victory of sorts for their Irish striker Georgie Kelly, who came off the bench to make his first appearance in three months.
