The manager of Trump International Golf Links and Hotel Doonbeg says it’s business as usual following an incident of criminal damage.
A major clean-up operation has taken place at the West Clare resort, after vandals entered the site on Wednesday and dug holes on the golf course.
Gardaí believe protestors carried out a number of acts of criminal damage on the golf course at Doonbeg on Wednesday between 5pm and midnight, during which time Taoiseach Micheál Martin was being hosted in the White House by the property’s owner, US President Donald Trump.
It’s understood several holes were dug on two greens and a number of Palestinian flags were mounted.
