TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – The Indonesian railway company, KAI, noted a surge in the number of LRT Jabodebek users at several integrated stations during the Eid al-Fitr holiday season this year.
The growth is said to reflect the role of LRT Jabodebek as a connector to other transportation services like the Commuter Line, MRT Jakarta, Whoosh high-speed rail, and intercity buses at the Kampung Rambutan Terminal.
The Executive Vice President of LRT Jabodebek, Mochamad Purnomosidi, believes that the surge reflects public trust in integrated public transport services.
