Adolescence knocked off of Netflix top spot by ‘insane and heartbreaking’ true crime documentary – as viewers urge ‘stop everything you’re doing and watch it!’

Adolescence has been knocked off of Netflix‘s top spot by an ‘insane and heartbreaking’ true crime documentary.

The four-part series has reached over 96million views since it was released on March 13 and has received rave reviews since.

Adolescence follows the story of a young boy called Jamie Miller (Owen Cooper), who gets accused of killing his female classmate Katie (Emilia Holliday). 

However, it has since been overtaken by Gone Girls: The Long Island Serial Killer.
