The Kansas City Chiefs hosted their annual “local pro day” on Monday, which invited 53 area prospects to the team facility for an organized workout. It was an opportunity for the participants – each of whom attended either a local high school or university – to show the Chiefs’ coaches and scouts what they could do prior to the 2025 NFL Draft later this month.
The event has led to tangible results in the past, too. Two participants from the local pro day in 2023 – defensive end Felix Anudike-Uzomah and cornerback Ekow Boye-Doe – each landed with Kansas City for the 2023 season.
