Queensland, Fiji, London, the Cook Islands and Sydney are the top destinations Kiwis are travelling to for their holidays, House of Travel says.
The travel agency said they also noticed a shift in New Zealanders’ travel itineraries, with Hanoi, Tokyo and Bali gaining popularity.
“We have seen a massive 130 percent year-on-year increase in school holiday bookings to Hanoi,” said House of Travel chief executive David Coombes.
“Bali bookings are up 32 percent year-on-year, with Tokyo rising 11 percent.
