Russian missiles struck the centre of a bustling Ukrainian city near the border as residents gathered for church services on Palm Sunday.
At least two children were among the 34 killed and more than 100 injured after a ballistic missile hit the north-eastern Ukrainian city of Sumy yesterday – one of the busiest church-going days of the year – leaving scenes of devastation reminiscent of the early days of the war.
