MANILA, Philippines — The University of Santo Tomas (UST) on Thursday mourned the death of a graduating student, after it was reported by university publishers that he committed suicide for failing to pass one of his subjects.
Physical Therapy student Junver Combate Toledo died on May 17, at the age of 22, with his father, Oliver, posting his son’s suicide note on Monday.
