As fans are lamenting Florian Wirtz’s decision to choose Liverpool FC over Bayern Munich, more and more of the story to how it happened is dropping.
According to a report from kicker journalist Georg Holzner (as captured by @iMiaSanMiia), the club’s plan for Wirtz was likely considered to be inconsistent as two factions within the Bayern Munich had differing ideas on how Wirtz could be used:
