Drew Wolitarsky has signed a one-day contract with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers to officially retire as a member of the team.
The 30-year-old originally joined the club as a supplemental draft pick in 2017. He spent seven seasons with the Blue Bombers, recording 227 catches for 2,954 yards and 18 touchdowns. He won two Grey Cups in Winnipeg but was cut following the 2024 season prior to being paid an offseason roster bonus.
The six-foot-two, 220-pound target signed with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in 2025 but dressed for only two regular-season games. He didn’t record any statistics and was released last month ahead of an offseason roster…
