MANILA, Philippines – The low-pressure area (LPA) outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) has been forecast to develop into a tropical depression within 24 hours, the national weather bureau said on Monday.
Weather specialist Aldczar Aurelio of the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said, however, that the weather disturbance has a slim chance to enter PAR.
“It would also be unlikely to affect the country’s weather directly, but its trough or extension was already bringing cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms over Visayas, Mindanao, Sorsogon, and Masbate,”…
