COTABATO CITY — Leaders from the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) have expressed gratitude to President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. for hosting an unprecedented version of Iftar at the Malacañan Palace on March 12.
The Duterte administration had hosted ceremonies for Iftar (an Islamic rite for dusk breaking of Ramadan fasting), but the events took place at hotels in Metro Manila and Davao City, BARMM officials present at Thursday’s gathering said in comparative reactions.
