SPOTLIGHT: Stormers captain Deon Fourie didn’t mince his words regarding an ‘unsportsmanlike’ moment during the Capetonians’ 12-36 United Rugby Championship Round 10 loss to Leinster.
The incident occured ahead of a Stormers line-out throw as hooker Joseph Dweba struggled to hear the call from his side.
Fourie alerted Italian referee Andrea Piardi but to no avail as he expressed his frustration with the situation following the defeat to the Irish powerhouse.
“I don’t know if I’m allowed to say this…but there’s a certain line where sportsmanship comes into play,” Fourie said.
