Given their sporting interests, it is perhaps not surprising that football featured in Emma Farmer and Conor Cotter’s wedding day.
Emma, from Aghada, and Conor, from Kilmichael, first met seven years ago on a night out in Reardens and undoubtedly had plenty to talk about.
“We were both GAA-obsessed, Conor plays hurling and football for Kilmichael and I play ladies’ football for Aghada. We also love soccer too. I’m a die-hard Manchester United fan and Conor supports Arsenal.”
Emma, a secondary school teacher, and Conor, who works in HR in County Hall, now live in Aghada.

The couple got engaged on the grounds of the Park Hotel in Kenmare.
