Pinoys show support for Duterte outside The Hague prison

The Hague, Netherlands —Dozens of Filipinos gathered in front of the Scheveningen Prison awaiting the arrival of former president Rodrigo Duterte.

Duterte’s supporters sang Lupang Hinirang and brandished the Philippine flag.

Some have come from different cities in the Netherlands and even nearby countries, such as Germany.

Elizabeth Prado, a Filipina who has been living in Germany for 40 years, told GMA News she came to the Hague to give her moral support to the former president.

“I wish the ICC to give him the right decision and bring him back to the Philippines,” Prado told GMA News.
