As the World Cup approaches, adidas are setting themselves as the ones-to-watch when it comes to football-inspired style. Having already teamed up with BAPE, the brand have now partnered with Arte Antwerp on a project that brings things front and centre.
Rooted in founder Bertony Da Silva’s Angolan heritage and European influences the colab brings a refined approach to the world of performance-inspired design. Dubbed the Trivela, the custom model is built on a slim sole construction and sock-like foot entrance, while a leather upper elevates the whole silhouette’s materiality. Additional details, including an asymmetric zip and a subtle suede patch at the shank, add depth and a luxe appeal.
