Sarah J. Maas is author to some of the most popular romantasy novels in existence. Arguably her most popular series, A Court of Thorns and Roses (ACOTAR), has been in limbo for five years as fans have waited for any news about the next book. And as of March 4, we finally have a release date for book six on the record. The biggest surprise, however, was Maas announcing book seven with a release date just over two months after book six comes out.
Mass announced ACOTAR book six will release on October 27, 2026, followed by book seven on January 12, 2027. She shared the news on the most recent episode of the Call Her Daddy podcast. Both new books are now up for preorder.
