U.S- More than 22.7 million doses of the vaccine against Covid-19 have been administered in the United States according to information published this Monday by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, CDC for its acronym in English, published CNN.
Almost 6 percent of the United States population — more than 19 million people — have received at least one dose of the vaccine, and approximately 3.3 million are fully vaccinated.
In Alaska, 11 percent of the population has already received at least one dose, followed by West Virginia where more than 9 percent of the population has already received at least one inoculation, the data shows.
Across the country, approximately 55 percent of the 41.4 million doses distributed have been administered.
States have 72 hours to report vaccine information, so the data released by the CDC may be out of date — and it may not necessarily mean that all doses were administered on the day they were reported.
