Accident Shuts Down Southbound I-95 in Delaware County – NBC Los Angeles

A spectacular multi-vehicle crash shut down portions of Interstate 95 in Delaware County, Pennsylvania early Thursday morning.

It was preliminarily reported that the incident caused the diversion of traffic, causing morning congestion on that road.

All I-95 traffic was diverted to Route 322 to Chichester Avenue to rejoin another section of the same arterial road.

Try to avoid Exit 3A (Route 322 West / West Chester), closures were recorded at Exit 2 (Route 452 / Market Street), per PA511. So far it is unknown until when the roads will be closed, but rescue and cleaning brigades attend to the emergency.

The SKYFORCE62 helicopter flew over the area of ​​the accident and was able to capture images of displaced cars and one of them even split in half. At the moment it is unknown if there are any injuries and the extent of their injuries.

After 8:30 am, the road reopened while they investigate the causes of the accident.
