TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – – Alabama chief tennis coach men George Husack announced the inclusion of outstanding German junior Samofalov in Crimson Tide’s sign language course. The Ukrainian will join the Crimson Tide together with Zach Foster, Enzo Aguiard and Filip Planinsek in autumn 2021.
“From the beginning of our German recruitment, he showed us how focused and determined he is to become a great tennis player. He is young and has another season of international tournaments, including the Junior Grand Slams. The competition and experience will carry over very well to the beginning of his college career. He is a player and we are happy that Deutsch and his family are taking part in our program. “

Samofalov’s “Why Alabama?”
“We had long, warm and instructive conversations with George Husack and Dimitar Kutrovsky from which I understood that there is a real team spirit in this team. In my opinion, Alabama has one of the best sports facilities I’ve ever seen. I was impressed with the entire university infrastructure. It is a great honor for me to be part of this team. I am confident that in Alabama I will continue to improve as an athlete and become a successful student. “”
