Alabama: Nine children and teenagers died in road traffic accident

WITHhe people, including nine children and adolescents, were killed in a serious traffic accident in the US state of Alabama. CNN reported on Sunday, citing forensic medicine in the Butler district, eight children between the ages of four and 17 had died in a vehicle in a girls’ home. A nine-month-old girl and her 29-year-old father were killed in the second accident vehicle. The accident occurred on Saturday in stormy weather on the I-65 motorway.

The driver of the van suffered serious injuries. She was rescued by helpers from the burning vehicle, said Michael Smith, chairman of the non-profit organization “Alabama Sheriffs Youth Ranch” according to the “New York Times”. The group was on their way back from a beach trip, Smith said.
