Alaska Airlines has signed a new order with Boeing for the acquisition of 23 additional Boeing 737 Max 9s. With this new agreement, the total orders and options for Alaska Airlines’ Boeing 737 MAX are 120 aircraft.
Alaska Airlines had placed an order for 32,737 max 9 in 2012 as part of its fleet modernization program. Last month, the American company announced that it was extending its commitment to the Max program by wanting to lease 13 new 737 Max 9s and announced that it was going to part with the A320s it had received during its acquisition from Virgin America. .
