Lireland manager Stephen Kenny has called up a squad of 25 players for the friendlies against Belgium and Lithuania. RSC Anderlecht midfielder Josh Cullen is in the game.
Cullen, 25, has established himself as an important pawn in the middle of the Anderlecht game and has been a regular in the national team since then. He has represented his country 12 times since his debut in September 2019.
Earlier in the day, Englishman John Eustace was appointed Kenny’s assistant coach. It will begin on Saturday with the duel against Belgium, which will mark the centenary of the Irish federation.
