Apple Music New Sponsor For Super Bowl Halftime Show ()

NEW YORK (dpa-AFX) – The dazzling halftime show at the Super Bowl has a new title sponsor. Apple After ten years, music replaces Pepsi as the sponsor for the annual entertainment spectacle at the final game of the National Football League, as the US professional league announced on Friday. Experts estimate that the NFL collects at least 50 million dollars (around 51 million euros) per year for the sale of the rights. The deal with the US group Apple runs for several years.

The halftime show is a ratings hit. In February, 120 million people in the USA saw the performance of the music stars Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J Blige and Kendrick Lamar. The next Super Bowl will be held on February 12, 2023 in Glendale, Arizona./hc/DP/stk
