Born June 16, 1991 in Glendale, California, Ashley Park is a Korean-American actress. At the age of fifteen, she was diagnosed with leukemia, which she overcame after eight months of chemotherapy.
Although born in California, it was in Michigan that she studied, notably in the class Musical Theatre from the University of Michigan. Subsequently, she made her stage debut on Broadway in the musical Oh mama! et The King and I au Lincoln Center.
In 2018, she appeared in two successful Broadway shows, Kpop et Mean Girls under the direction of actress Tina Fey.
In 2020, she became known internationally thanks to the Netflix series Emily in Parisin which she plays the role of the best friend of the character played by Lily Collins, Mindy Chen.
