In the office of the head of the municipality, all the readers-winners of the military-patriotic competitions of 2019 and 2020, as well as parents and teachers who prepared and supported them during the creative test, gathered.
Recall that in 2019, out of 297 schoolchildren who decided to try their hand at public speaking, 22 participants made it to the finals, of which 10 were among the winners. In 2020, out of 273 participants, 30 became finalists, of which 8 students won.
Greeting the audience, the head of the district Alim Temirbulatov noted that such competitions contribute to the disclosure of the creative potential of the younger generation, forming their interest and love for literary reading, along the way developing oral speech.
“The Reading Contest is one of the events designed to connect generations. For today’s schoolchildren, the war years are a very distant past, and less and less often they have the opportunity to hear stories about the times of war and the siege from the lips of the direct participants in the events. Through literature and creativity, children get the opportunity to touch the history of their country, their region. Both competitions, timed to coincide with the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War and the Year of Memory and Glory, were aimed at developing the patriotic education of the young generation on the examples of the exploits of the defenders of the Motherland. The literary works chosen by the children for recitation were dedicated to their firmness and courage, ”the head of the district emphasized.
Alim Temirbulatov also set the topic for the next competition, which will start in 2021.
“Due to the fact that our beloved Republic of Dagestan in January 2021 will celebrate the centenary of the formation of the DASSR, this should be the topic of the future recitation competition,” he added. Then Alim Temirbulatov congratulated all the participants of the competition with a well-deserved victory and the upcoming New Year, after which he presented them with certificates of honor, flowers and valuable gifts from the regional administration.
