ORLANDO, Florida. – Back to school in central Florida begins the first week of January after the New Year’s celebration.
The seven counties that surround the city of Orlando will begin classes on different days of that week.
Below are the start dates for school districts for the Central Florida area.
- Seminole County: Monday, January 2, 2023
- Volusia County: Tuesday, January 3, 2023
- Lake County: Tuesday, January 3, 2023
- Orange County: Wednesday, January 4, 2023
- Osceola County: Wednesday, January 4, 2023
- Brevard County: Thursday, January 5, 2023
- Polk County; Thursday, January 5, 2023
