Kansas City Chiefs at Cincinnati Bengals 24:27

The Kansas City Chiefs’ winning streak ended after five straight wins. Quarterback Patrick Mahomes wasn’t as effective as usual with 223 passing yards and a touchdown.

In addition, tight end Travis Kelce made a crucial fumble shortly after the start of the fourth quarter. The Bengals used the following drive for a touchdown to the final score of 27:24.

Joe Burrow, the Bengals quarterback, threw for 286 yards and two touchdowns, and also got into the end zone once himself. Running back Samaje Perine was one of the most effective players, gaining a total of 155 yards.

The Bengals drew level with the Baltimore Ravens at 8-4 in the AFC North. The Chiefs continue to lead the AFC West 9-3, but lose No. 1 in the AFC to the tied Buffalo Bills.

Miami Dolphins at San Francisco 49ers 17:33

San Francisco 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo suffered an ankle injury early in the game and had to be retired.

After the game, the terrible news: broken foot. Trey Lance’s backup, who is also out with an injury for the remainder of the season, will undergo surgery and will be unavailable to the 49ers for the 2022 season.

Jimmy G. was replaced by Brock Purdy, who was the last pick in the 2022 NFL Draft and thus became the so-called “Mr. Irelevant”.

The rookie delivered a surprisingly strong game, leading the 49ers to victory with 210 passing yards and two touchdowns in just one interception. His most effective weapon was Christian McCaffrey with 80 receiving yards and 66 rushing yards.

Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa threw for 295 yards and two touchdowns, but also lost three turnovers with two interceptions and a fumble. Both teams now have a record of eight wins and four losses.

Seattle Seahawks at Los Angeles Rams 27:23

The Los Angeles Rams crisis has continued. In the home game against the Seattle Seahawks, the reigning Super Bow champion conceded his sixth loss in a row, bringing the season record to 3-9. Quarterback John Wolford, standing in for the injured Matthew Stafford, only had 178 passing yards and threw two interceptions.

One of Los Angeles’ few bright spots was Cam Akers, who had two touchdowns.

The Seahawks had a barely existent running game (90 yards), but they had a quarterback in top form in Geno Smith. He threw for 367 yards and three touchdowns in one interception. Tyler Lockett caught passes for 128 yards and a touchdown. Seattle now stands at seven wins and five losses.

Los Angeles Chargers at Las Vegas Raiders 20:27

The Las Vegas Raiders continued their winning streak with a third straight win. Quarterback Derek Carr had 250 passing yards, two touchdowns and an interception. His favorite passing station was Davante Adams, who caught both touchdown passes and totaled 177 yards. Running back Josh Jacobs also stood out with 144 rushing yards and a touchdown.

Justin Herbert, the Chargers passer, threw for a whopping 335 yards. However, his team only managed one touchdown. Running play wasn’t a factor either, at 72 yards. The Chargers now have six wins and six losses and the Raiders are 5-7.
