Blues-rock with Louisiana accents arrives at Arcadie, Saturday, in Ploudalmézeau – Ploudalmézeau

The Bordelais from Flyin’Saucers Gumbo Special are stopping off this Saturday, November 5, 2022, at 8:30 p.m., at Arcadie, in Ploudalmézeau, as part of the annual program of the performance hall, but also as the ninth appointment you from the Aber blues 2022 festival, in Pays d’Iroise.

2019 blues album of the year

This spicy quintet, which draws its influences from the repertoires of the southeastern United States, is a tasty blend of blues, funk and rock’n’roll inspired by Louisiana registers such as swamp blues or zydeco. It is one of the only French groups to mix so many repertoires while possessing their own identity, which we can call Louisiana Dancin’ Party!

The musicians, Cédric Le Goff (keyboard, vocals), Lucas Gautier (guitar, vocals), Fabio Izquierdo (melodeon, harmonica, frottoir, vocals), Jean-Charles Duchein (bass, vocals) and Stéphane Stanger (drums) will play, on this occasion, their seventh album, “Notin’ But”, released in August 2019, acclaimed by many musical media, including Rock & amp, Folk, and voted “Album of the Year 2019” by Zicazic.

Note that before the concert, the Hot Jazz Club Iroise opens the bar, in the hall of Arcadie, from 7 p.m. with products from local artisans: charcuterie plates (€4/person), cheese plates (5 €/person) and drinks.
