The former Brazilian president, Jair Bolsonaro, has been hospitalized in a Florida health center for severe abdominal pain, as published by the Reuters news agency, collecting the version from a source close to the former president. This same person added that his condition “was not worrisome.”
According to the Brazilian newspaper ‘O Globo’, the former president has been admitted to the AdventHealth Celebration hospital, located on the outskirts of the city of Orlando.
Bolsonaro has been hospitalized several times in recent years with intestinal obstructions after being stabbed while campaigning for the presidency in 2018. He traveled to the United States two days before Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva took over as president.
This latest hospitalization of Bolsonaro comes just one day after hundreds of supporters stormed the headquarters of the State powers in Brasilia, in an episode similar to the one experienced on January 6, 2021 at the United States Capitol.
