DAX remains page 1 after price slide above 13,900 points

As long as the DAX can defend the area around 13,800/13,900 points, a sideways movement and, as a result, a new price increase is to be expected. However, a new upward movement is not to be expected until the beginning of January.

No important economic data are scheduled for publication this Friday morning. However, data on November durable goods orders are expected in the US at 2:30 p.m. in the afternoon. Also at 2:30 p.m. U.S. consumer spending for November will be released. At 4:00 p.m., the consumer climate for the University of Michigan will follow for December. In the evening at 9:30 p.m. the focus is again on the Commitments of Traders (COT) report, which offers an insight into the positioning of US investors and could therefore give an indication of the further development of the US market.
