Deaf cats seem irritated and lonely: What happens then gets under the skin of many
With a touching reaction, a deaf cat conquers the hearts of millions of TikTok users.
Connecticut (USA) – This deaf cat gets under the skin of many TikTok users. As of last week, more than 8.5 million people watched the clip of Connecticut’s cat Karma. The animal looks lonely and irritated in the video, meows sadly to itself. But when the cat spots her owner Carolyn, she immediately feels like a different person and runs happily in her direction.

The fur nose was filmed by Carolyn’s friend, whose video available here is. Unfortunately, the poor fellow can only give the animal little comfort when it is waiting for its beloved owner.
The owner proudly told the US magazine Newsweek this week: “The way she reacts when she sees me coming always puts a smile on my face and makes me feel like I love her and am grateful. her in mine Life to have.”
In addition to Karma, two other cats live in the household of Carolyn and her partner. But especially the deaf four-legged friend has done it to his mistress.
“She loves to snuggle up on my pillow to sleep at night, where I can hear her soft snoring next to my ear all night,” says the graphic designer.

“She’s the cutest cat imaginable and I can only hope we’ll have many more years to greet each other at the door,” Carolyn continued.
Karma is therefore one of the velvet paws that refute the prejudice that cats are unapproachable. Studies also suggest that house cats are happy when their owners come home.
