Diocesan Christmas tree was held in Kaluga. The solemn event took place in the regional philharmonic society, reports on Saturday, January 7, the press service of the Kaluga government.

Governor Vladislav Shapsha congratulated Kaluga residents on Christmas.

“I really want you to always have smiles on your faces,” said the head of the region, wishing everyone to have their close and dear people next to everyone these days.

The Christmas tree is traditionally organized for parishioners of the region’s church parishes, students of Sunday schools, an Orthodox gymnasium, and children from large families. Also, Metropolitan of Kaluga and Borovsk Clement congratulated everyone. He urged to appreciate the warmth and love of each other, to love their country and be sure to believe in a miracle.

For the participants of the holiday, a Christmas performance “The Light that Gives Hope” and a large concert program were presented.
