FA Cup surprise: Leeds humiliated by Crawley Town, a Division 4 club

Leeds United, 12th in the Premier League, were humiliated 3-0 by Crawley Town, current 6th in the English 4th division, on Sunday in the Round of 16 of the FA Cup.

Argentinian Leeds coach Marcelo Bielsa had decided to leave several executives such as Illan Meslier, Stuart Dallas, Luke Ayling, Mateusz Klich and Patrick Bamford to rest.

The small team from Sussex, south of London, made the difference after the break, scoring in quick succession by Nick Tsaroulla (50th) and Ashley Nadesan (53rd), before Jordan Tunnicliffe (70th) sealed a tenth victory of straight for Crawley.

The other two Premier League clubs entered earlier in the day had no trouble keeping their rank: Manchester City defeated Birmingham (D2) 3-0 and Chelsea crushed Morecambe (D4) 4-0 thanks to achievements signed Mount (18th), Werner (44th), Hudson-Odoi (49th) and Havertz (85th).
