Apple Wants to Fix Safari's Cramped Layout on iPhone Duo

Apple is investigating options to improve the Safari browser layout on the outer display of the iPhone Duo, following reviewer complaints about crowded content and right-aligned browser controls. The company is considering letting websites extend behind Safari controls to grant web content more space on the external screen, though a definitive approach has not yet been finalized. Concurrently, Safari 27.1 on the newly released device introduces automatic side-by-side PDF viewing when the foldable phone is partially folded like a book.
