Dell XPS Googlebook Review: Beautiful Hardware For A Useless Platform

The Dell XPS Googlebook sells for $999 but faces criticism for its half-baked Googlebook OS. While reviewers praise the lightweight XPS design, solid screen, and great keyboard, the software is described as practically pointless. The Android-ChromeOS hybrid struggles with core laptop tasks, offering few compatible Android apps and a useless phone sync. Engadget gave the device a 6.5/10 rating, noting that the hardware is beautiful but the platform remains useless for most users except Gemini AI enthusiasts.
