Google Launches Fitbit Edge Fitness Tracker

Google announced the Fitbit Edge on October 12, positioning the device as a middle ground between the screenless Fitbit Air and the Pixel Watch 5. The fitness tracker features an oval 1.34-inch display, an aluminum design, and a battery life of 7 days. Priced at $179.99, the device includes built-in GPS and a repairable design. While it resembles a smartwatch, Google describes it as a purpose-built fitness gadget. Pre-orders are currently open, with a full release scheduled for October 27.
