GTA 6 gets a pass for nudity that indies don’t

Grand Theft Auto 6 has generated controversy regarding its inclusion of nudity and sex scenes. While the title appears to be navigating age rating boards successfully, reports indicate a double standard where independent developers face stricter censorship and the delisting of their games. Some critics argue the creative vision behind the nudity in the upcoming crime simulator is outdated. Rockstar Games leadership has indicated a desire to avoid a repeat of the Hot Coffee incident associated with previous titles in the series.
