Israeli Settlers Attack Palestinians and U.S. Journalist in West Bank

Masked Israeli settlers attacked Palestinians and a Washington Post photojournalist during an olive harvest in the occupied West Bank on Friday, leaving several people injured. Israeli police arrested at least 10 suspects on Monday following the violence, which also involved a separate attack on an entourage of European diplomats over the weekend. The incidents occurred amid ongoing United States pressure regarding a surge of settler violence in the region. Authorities continue to investigate the violent encounters as international scrutiny mounts over security conditions for civilians and media workers in the West Bank.
