Officers recovered a "quantity of petrol" from the vehicles. The suspects include five men in their 20s from London and a dual British-Iranian national. The incident triggered the evacuation of local villagers and searches of two properties in Westminster. While US Secretary of State Marco Rubio claims the event clearly involved a foreign actor, the Iranian embassy in London has categorically rejected and condemned any speculation of Tehran's involvement.
