The original Apple TV 4K from 2017 is now officially "vintage"
Apple has officially designated the 2017 Apple TV 4K as a vintage product. This status change occurs as the company prepares to launch a new generation of smart home devices. While the hardware remains functional, vintage classification typically impacts the availability of parts and official repair services. Users of the 2017 model can still upgrade their experience by purchasing a new Find My-compatible Siri Remote for $59, which maintains compatibility with older Apple TV 4K and HD models.
