Why Did Prince Harry Cancel Nottingham Walkabout?
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle reportedly scrapped a planned public walkabout in Nottingham during their visit to the city on Thursday, October 15, 2026. The couple ultimately conducted a three-charity visit instead of recreating their famous 2017 walkabout. While reports surfaced that the public event was cancelled due to fears of negative crowd reactions or low attendance, separate reporting noted that they still received a warm welcome during their actual engagements in the city. The visit marked their first official joint outing since returning to the United Kingdom.
