Finland to limit cross-border traffic – Minister

HELSINKI (Reuters) – Finland will begin on Thursday to severely restrict traffic across its borders to curb the outbreak of the coronavirus, Interior Minister Maria Ohisalo said.

The center-left government of Finland passed a law on the adoption of a state of emergency on Tuesday, which the parliament is expected to pass on Wednesday.

The Finnish health authority had confirmed 319 coronavirus cases by Tuesday, but no deaths.
