CHRISTIAN GRIMAULT began his career as an accompanying pianist for the Ballet Classique de l’Opéra de Nantes before continuing, from 1985, his activity within the conservatory of this same city. He is also a teacher and trainer for dancers at the higher education center for performing arts in Bretagne Pays de la Loire.
Dance, and more generally the expression of the body in movement, are inexhaustible sources of inspiration for Christian Grimault. They create “a space” conducive to improvisation, to immediate creation, naturally leading to the rapprochement of music and image.
